If I haven't mentioned it like a thousand times, I finally have a website up. I need one so bad and after my successful Maternity shoot the other day so I bit down and used the proceeds to buy the site template/domain. I now have a monthly cost of $15 to add to my expenses so I need to make at least that much to cover it lol. Right now it's not 100% done but feedback is appreciated.

I was really hoping this would be the year I made the transfer to full-time freelance photographer but I honestly don't know if it going to happen. My beloved D80 that I payed $1300 for a year and a half ago was quickly outdated. I was playing with the D300 yesterday and fell in love so eventually I'd like to upgrade to that and use my D80 as my second body. Not the mention the almost sexual joy I experience seeing how fast that VR lens was. I still need my lights and backdrops and those come first before a second camera. Luckily the costs on the external SB-400 have dropped a bunch so I think that's my next investment so I can shoot a few events here and there.

I fail to mention tho that as a full time mommy I barely have time to shower in a day, not that I'm complaining. Van is an amazing baby and I swear is only a week or two away from walking. He's been cruising around the living room for weeks now, last night I caught him painting my coffee table with his teething biscuit. There's cookie mess EVERYWHERE, I'm just lucky he didn't target my couch tho. He's also figured out how to open the bunny cage and tries to pet the bunny. The other day I watched as he found one of his socks on the floor and went to the bunny cage, opened it and offered the sock to the bunny. The bunny started pulling on the sock so the baby pulled back, it was tug-a-war, it was crazy!.
